- Hi. I'm Patti. Weddings are my passion. I love brides who “think outside the box.” I love what I do - helping couples have a smooth wedding in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. My speciality is planning weddings in six months or less. I am the sole owner and the one who is onsite at each of my weddings. That's why I only do a select number of weddings per year so I can treat each one of my clients as if they were my only clients.

I don't have a wedding day proposal for you, but I do have a wedding story that will make your hair stand on end as a wedding planner.... Last weekend I was to get married on the beach outside of Savannah, Georgia a very cool destination wedding with family and friends.... after a tropical storm blew in during the day, my coordinator absolutely went nutty.. she just couldn't get things together and our back up became the parking garge...the wedding was 3 hours late, the minister never met us, she didn't have things for a sand ceremony, forgot a radio so we had to find one to do a first dance.. and they kicked us out a little after 10.
We'll be having a second wedding soon..most people have to go and get divorced to do that!
Thanks, Amanda, for your story. Unbelievable! I feel bad your coordinator wasn't able to handle things properly. Unfortunately, just like in any business, there are good ones and bad ones. I always have a checklist to make sure I never forget to bring anything that's requested for the wedding. Hope your second wedding goes a lot smoother. Thank you for commenting.
